We are in kind of a transition stage, I think.  A variety of things going on that have distracted me from the blogs.  We are planning on leaving Mount Vernon, Ohio next week and working our way south.  We are committed to a couple of family stops on the way, then to Dallas for doctor appointments.

The big news is that we have started looking at used Class C motorhomes.  We have loved our 36 foot 1998 Class A Holiday Rambler.  It’s still in great condition and runs like a top, but we would like to make some changes.  After two years in the Class A, we’ve learned some things about ourselves.  For maneuverability, we’d like something shorter, and for comfort when parked, we’d like a slideout in the living area.  The slideout will add weight, of course, so we need to look at both carrying capacity and towing power for the Honda CR-V.  Like everyone, we have our wish list, and we’ll take our time searching.  At the moment, I really like the Super C’s and Phoenix Cruisers, but both are probably going to be out of our reach cost-wise.  We really like the Lazy Daze as well, but we’ve decided we will live more comfortably with a dedicated bedroom.

Lots of things to consider.  We’ll  keep you posted.

Good luck with your search Ralph. I suppose you now have a good handle on living in a confined space.
