We settled into our spot here at Advanced RV Park in Pearland, Texas a little over a week ago.  It’s been a busy week, with Jeep repairs and an art market to participate in.  I also made substantial progress on a commission painting.

This week, we’re doing some spring cleaning as well as a little reorganizing.  We overheated the shredder yesterday, so I’m hoping it will start up after cooling off overnight.  We also bought four low, flat, plastic tubs to hold our off-season clothes which have been stored under the bed.  Now everything is folded neatly in the tubs which are stored under the large framed paintings, which are enclosed in fleece “pillowcases” that Nell made over a  year ago expressly for storing and transporting the paintings.  The storage under the bed is full, but much more organized and accessible now.

Hopefully, I can get back to my “regular blog programming” and get up to date with our last few stops on the way back here to Houston.  I still want to tell you about our visit with artist Dot Courson and her husband, Jackie in Mississippi… and about Heath Clement and his barbeque restaurant in Nacogdoches, Texas.   And there’s a cautionary story to tell about the Jeep.

So there’s more to come.  But first, we’ve got to get the shredder going…

Paper Shredder? That is surely it, can’t imagine any other. Just that you made it sound so critical that you get it going. Your blog post have been infrequent for sometime, just having too much fun in retirement ( excuse me, lifestyle change :0) ) Looking forward to your coming post.

Oops, yes, I did mean paper shredder. It was definitely critical, because if it didn’t get going, we would have continued keeping a bunch of paper around. You’re also right about the infrequent blog posts the past few weeks. I’m trying to catch up.
